We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data tricities.shop collects, why, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account info — email, name, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text) when you sign up.
• Business profile info — what you publish on your listing.
• Quote request data — your name, email, phone, and message when you submit a request.
• Reviews — your name, email (not shown publicly), star rating, and review text.
• Usage data — page views and basic analytics via Vercel Analytics.
• IP address and user agent — collected for spam prevention on form submissions only.

What we don't collect

• We don't track you across other sites.
• We don't sell your data — ever.
• We don't store credit card numbers (Stripe handles all payment data).
• We don't want and won't process health information. If you include medical details in a quote, please don't.

Cookies

We use cookies for session authentication (keeping you signed in) and basic site analytics. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers beyond Vercel's first-party analytics.

Who can see your data

Your quote requests are sent to the specific business you submitted to. Reviews show your name publicly but not your email. Account email and full profile data are visible only to you, our admins, and the business owner you've contacted.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct any inaccuracies, or delete your account by emailing hello@tricities.shop. We'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Quote requests and reviews are kept indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them. Deleted accounts have personal data purged within 30 days.

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — hosting and analytics
• Stripe — payment processing (for Featured/Premium subscriptions)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Google Maps — embedded maps on business profiles
