How it works
Step 1: Book a drop-off
Tell us what you have. We'll set a time to look at it together in Blountville.
Step 2: We list it
We agree on a price, you sign a simple agreement, and we photograph and list your item on TriCities.shop.
Step 3: Prices step down
If it hasn't sold, the price drops 20% on day 30 and 40% on day 45 (off the starting price), so it keeps moving.
Step 4: You get paid
You get 60% of the sale price, paid twice a month by Venmo, check or cash.

Everything is spelled out in a written agreement you sign at drop-off. Each item keeps the terms it was dropped off under.
Questions
How much do I get?
60% of what the item sells for (not counting sales tax). We keep 40%, and our card and listing fees come out of our share, not yours.
When do I get paid?
Twice a month, for items that sold at least 14 days earlier. The wait covers buyer returns. Each payment comes with a list of what sold.
What if it doesn't sell?
Items stay up for 60 days. If it's still unsold, we'll let you know and you have 14 days to pick it up. Items left after that become ours to sell or donate.
Can I take something back early?
Yes. Give us 3 business days' notice and pick it up any time during business hours.
Will you sell for less than the listed price?
Not without asking you first. Your item sells at its current price; any other discount needs your OK.
What do you take?
Items worth $20.00 or more that you own outright and that work as described. We look at each item at drop-off and may say no, for example to recalled products or things that are hard to sell.
Ready to clear out the garage?
Tell us what you have (item, condition, a rough value) and when you could drop it off. We'll reply by email.
